GRADING/ATTENDANCE:  Grading is based on a point system with daily work, class participation, quizzes, tests and projects included.  Assignments are to be turned in the beginning of class on the date due.  Late assignments will be accepted for half credit until the unit test is completed.  Cheating on assignments will not be tolerated!  The following grading scale will be followed.

Students and parents will be able to access grades and review attendance using Power Teacher for the RACTC.  Website address for the RACTC Power Teacher and log on information will be provided to all students and parents from administration at each school.

Attendance is essential for the understanding of the subject material.  The information in class is presented in a variety of methods: in–class readings and lectures, discussions, power points, demonstrations, small-group activities, guest speakers, projects, videos and tours.

It is your responsibility to notify the teacher prior to being absent for a planned excuse.  Students are to acquire assignments and materials prior to school related absence and be ready to join the class upon return. You will have one day to make up work for each day missed upon your return for excused absences only.  ITV classes will be taped and each student is responsible for viewing the session.  Tegrity students must watch each recording.  Not watching a recording is like skipping class which is an unexcused absence.

Tardies…..be in the right place at the right time.

Students must be sitting at their work station when the class period begins.  Tardies will immediately be reported to each building principal.  Hall passes will not be given to ITV students.
